Big thanks to Marius at Trinity Hall

Even though our beer is not yet flowing, our football brethren at Trinity Hall invited us to put on an event for Dallas Beer Week.  How could we say no?  So, Michael Peticolas will use craft beers from around the US to map out the long road to our First Annual Dallas Beer Week.

He'll discuss various US brewers' contributions to the craft beer movement, while enjoying their exceptional beers, and talk about why the craft beer movement in America lagged behind other countries, Texas lagged behind other states, and Dallas lagged behind other Texas cities.

We truly wish we had been up and running in time to serve up our own kegs for the event, but the event came a month too early.  Our 5 gallon batches have about run dry as we anxiously await our first 465 gallon brew.  Perhaps we'll check the back of the fridge for a bonus growler of the Velvet Hammer.  Regardless, we expect to have a great time enjoying some fantastic beers and getting to know some more of you guys.

Also, word on the street is that new friend Jana Donahoe of the Dallas Observer may provide us with some tickets to the Dallas Beer Festival.  We'll be sure to award them to the rightful attendees.  A 70 buck value!

We hope to see you at Trinity Hall next Tuesday, November 15th at 7:30 p.m.  Send an e-mail reservation to DBW@trinityhall.tv
